I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, practicing privately since 2014. I work primarily with couples experiencing relationship distress such: as difficulty communicating, mistrust, betrayal, feeling unsure about the relationship, sexual disconnection, and emotional disconnection.
If you feel like you’re in constant conflict with your partner, or like an ocean has formed between you, or perhaps the spark is gone and you feel more like roommates than partners in this life together, we can work together to deepen your connection, improve communication, and find a way to work through past and future challenges.
I believe in working collaboratively with my clients, helping you use your strengths to reach your desired goals of a more loving, intimate, and fulfilling relationship . I strive to create an open, accepting and safe environment in which to push yourself to make changes a feel successful in new ways of interacting.
I do this by weaving together therapy approaches that best suit your needs. I utilize Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) to heal, deepen and enrich relationships through strengthening the emotional connection between two people, increasing security, trust, and intimacy. Additionally, I use The Gottman Method Couples Therapy, which uses research based interventions and techniques to strengthen communication, deepen intimacy and build a life long foundation of trust, commitment and friendship.
“New beginnings start with knowing how we create the trap that we are caught in, how we have deprived ourselves of the love we need. Strong bonds grow from resolving to halt the cycles of disconnection, the dances of distress.”
