About Me
My Story
I am a proud "boomerang" Mainer, having returned to my hometown of Scarborough with my husband and our three children. I earned a dual degree in Psychology and Family Studies from the University of New Hampshire, followed by a Master Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of New Hampshire in 2012. My career began at Seacoast Mental Health Center in Portsmouth, NH, where I served as an outreach therapist for adults living with severe and persistent mental illness and their families. In 2014, I launched my private practice.
As a Certified Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, I have undergone extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) with a four-day externship and advanced training in Core Skills 1-4 through the International Center for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT), as well as supplementary supervision.
